Associate Director, Energy Solutions , Ulteig

After graduating from North Dakota State University, Josh began his career as a distribution engineer at Minnesota Power. After this, he built and led the Grid Modernization team at Ulteig, working on a range of utility projects focused on improving reliability, integrating new technologies and mitigating wildfire risk. He is currently an Associate Director in the Renewables Electrical department at Ulteig, where he continues to oversee projects related grid modernization in addition to the interconnection of renewable energy on the electric grid. Josh currently resides in Detroit Lakes, MN where he is thankful to escape the -20 degree whether to be in San Diego this week. His experience covers several aspects of utility engineering, including distribution system design and modernization.
