Josh Benson
Josh Benson is a control center manager responbile for distribution operations for AES Ohio, based in Dayton, Ohio. In this role, he oversees day-to-day operations focusing on safe, reliable and compliant operations. Prior to his leadership role, Josh spent many years as a Tranmission System Operator, where he earned and still maintains both NERC and PJM transmission certifcations. He also served many years as the training liason for System Operators and a SME for NERC compliance standards and audits. He has been integrale in the deployement of new sytems and processes like ADMS, FLISR, VVO and the design and implementation of the new Transmission and Distribution Operations Center. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a MBA from the University of Dayton.
