Joni Zacharisen
Joni Zacharisen serves as the Program Manager for Austin Energy’s Home Energy Savings program, where she oversees the utility's long-standing residential whole-home energy efficiency initiatives. With over 15 years of experience in energy efficiency, regulatory compliance, and program management, Joni has built a career dedicated to environmental conservation solutions. Prior to joining Austin Energy, Joni led a Department of Energy-sponsored residential efficiency program at CPS Energy and managed compliance for high-profile economic development programs for the State of Texas. She began her career at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) focusing on air quality initiatives. Joni holds an M.A. in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
