Jonathan Rund
Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary,
Nuclear Energy Institute
Jon Rund is Deputy General Counsel at the Nuclear Energy Institute. In this role, he is responsible for coordinating and representing the nuclear industry in litigation matters. His areas of responsibility at NEI also include a variety of corporate, regulatory, policy, and legislative matters. Jon has been working in the nuclear industry for more than 20 years. Before joining NEI, Jon practiced law in Morgan, Lewis & Bockius’s Energy Practice. He also worked as an attorney in the NRC Office of General Counsel and served as a law clerk to the NRC’s Atomic Safety and Licensing Board.
