Joe Grappe

Joe Grappé is a senior IEEE member and working group chair of the IEEE 1159 “IEEE Recommended Practice for Monitoring Electric Power Quality” committee. He received his degree from NC State University and is a registered professional engineer in the state of North Carolina. After graduation Joe Grappé worked in the utility industry as a grid engineer, op center engineer, and as a power quality engineer. During this time Joe Grappé published several papers on the topic of power quality. Currently, Joe Grappé works for Sentient Energy providing subject matter expertise in waveform analytics and analysis.
