Jim Liero
Sr Director – Grid Technologies,
PPL
Mr. Liero joined PPL Electric Utilities in 2013. He has been involved with Transmission and Distribution operations since joining the company. Mr. Liero is currently part of the PPL IT organization, responsible for the direction, strategic development, and overall leadership of PPL’s electric operations applications including ADMS and EMS systems. During his career at PPL, Mr. Liero has led various strategic initiatives to help optimize and automate PPL’s operational tools. He is a member of PPL’s strategic committee to envision the grid of future that integrates DER, FLISR, switching and other advanced power applications.
Mr. Liero holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from The Pennsylvania State University.
