Jessica Terry
Jessica Terry is Director of Strategic Operations Planning at Xcel Energy, where she works at the intersection of decarbonization and systems planning across the company's eight-state territory. She brings a finance-grounded view of capital investment, having spent years evaluating Xcel's energy-supply portfolio decisions from both ratepayer and investor perspectives. Her career spans utility strategy and consulting, including portfolio and rate-design work at NewGen Strategies & Solutions and a role in climate-aligned industry at RMI. She began in real-time power trading, managing renewable and gas generation across the ERCOT, CAISO, and NYISO markets. She holds an MS in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins and a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
