Sr. Mgr. – IT ETS / Grid Modernization – Engineering & Planning Tools , Southern California Edison

Jerome “Jer” Marr is the Senior IT Manager for System Engineering and Planning Tools at Southern California Edison. He leads the teams responsible for technology, architecture, development, and deployment, as well as the techno-functional strategic roadmaps, for his portfolio. His teams are responsible for total product lifecycle for all E&P tools including innovation and new technologies.  They also provide operational support for DSP/TSP planning, Distribution project modelling, ICA (Integrated Capacity Analysis) reporting, public-facing SCE grid capacity information (DR PEP), and long-range forecasting in support of SCE’s corporate strategies.  Prior to that Jer held various positions in Nuclear (SONGS), Customer Service Marketing, T&D, and IT units at Southern California Edison.  Outside of SCE, he founded several successful Internet and technology startup companies.  Jer a holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Southern California (USC).
