Jeff Groenewold serves as the Senior Manager of Energy Solutions at NRECA. He leads innovation and emerging technology efforts for more than 900 electric cooperatives across the United States. His work supports cooperatives as they evaluate new technologies, improve operational performance, and strengthen business and technology strategies while implementing practical and scalable solutions. Jeff brings a decade of experience from a distribution cooperative, where he focused on system planning, design and analysis. He also worked for a G&T cooperative in Power Supply, where he assisted managing a 1.2 GW portfolio, and launched one of the first DER programs in Texas. His leadership in this area advanced local resource integration and supported long term power supply strategies for North Texas. Jeff has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech, and a master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialty in Utility Management and Public Utility Regulatory an Economics from New Mexic State.
