James Tong is CEO of Advanced Grid Consulting, which develops and executes innovations for climate tech and e-mobility businesses. With nearly 15 years of experience in distributed energy, he has a proven track record of launching ground-breaking infrastructure-as-a-service models for the distributed energy industry, leading to over $100M of funds raised from private and public institutions. A distinguished expert, James has published various papers on DER deployment and has been cited by major publications, including the New York Times and NPR. He earned his BA from Yale University and MBA from Northwestern University.
