Harshal Patil is an Industrial Cybersecurity Consultant at Black & Veatch's Industrial Cybersecurity practice. He has more than 15 years of 
experience in cybersecurity, electrical engineering, and project management in the Operational Technology (OT) field. With his technical knowledge and industry experience, Harshal possesses a unique skill set that allows him to support companies in their cybersecurity journey. He has performed cybersecurity assessments for clients in the maritime, oil and gas (O&G), water, manufacturing and power industries, and assisted them in building robust cybersecurity programs. Harshal has also managed Industrial Security Operations Center (ISOC) operations for maritime and power plant clients where he collaborated with clients and team leaders to manage threat alerts throughout the ISOC client’s environments. Harshal has a strong knowledge in OT (operational technology) / ICS related compliance requirements and guidelines (NERC CIP, IMO) and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISA/IEC 62443). With an MS in Electrical Engineering, specializing in 
Control Systems, certifications such as SANS Global Industrial Cybersecurity 
Professional (GICSP), GIAC Monitoring (GMON), IEC 62443 and PMP combined with industry experience, Harshal brings a wealth of expertise to the table.
