Greg Floyd is an enterprise technology leader focused on shaping IT strategy and technical direction to drive business value. He establishes architecture standards, strategies, and guidance across application development, IoT, cloud computing, analytics, AI, and integration platforms, while leading and collaborating with architects across the organization.

Greg has played a key role in advancing cloud adoption and modern technology platforms. In partnership with infrastructure and security teams, he helped establish the Cloud Center of Excellence and has worked closely with cloud providers and strategic partners to accelerate platform adoption and promote best practices. He also helped establish the organization’s Azure Enterprise Agreement, supported cloud training initiatives, and advises technical teams building cloud-based solutions.

Most recently, Greg defined the enterprise data and analytics strategy, leading to the implementation of a federated lakehouse platform to support analytics, reporting, AI, and machine learning. He regularly partners with business leaders, vendors, and cross-functional technology teams to evaluate emerging technologies, develop proofs of concept, and implement innovative solutions. His work has contributed to several granted patents.

Greg also supports mergers and acquisitions by assessing IT capabilities, identifying inconsistencies, and helping create a more consolidated and capable IT service organization. He evaluates strategic technology investments and partner opportunities, providing formal recommendations to executive leadership. A key part of his role is translating complex technical concepts into clear business value to secure executive support and funding for strategic initiatives.

Greg has presented at Microsoft Build and Microsoft Ignite on Azure IoT development and streaming analytics, and he has participated in Microsoft Mechanics technical interviews on Azure Synapse. He also collaborates with Amazon, Google, and Oracle to support cloud adoption, hybrid cloud integration, and enterprise technical standards.
