George is Vice President - Utilities Strategy & Business Development at Electric Power Engineers. He is responsible for shaping the strategic direction of EPE's utilities business, building and leading high-performing teams and fostering exceptional customer experiences. Prior to joining EPE, George worked for Siemens Grid Software, where he served as VP Business Development, providing North American utility domain expertise to their Next Generation Software Business. During his 29-year career at American Electric Power, he held leadership positions in Distribution, Customer Operations, and IT/Telecommunications, including leading the development of AEP's gridSMART strategy. He worked in Ernst&Young's Power and Utilities practice, where he advised clients in T&D, IT Transformation and Regulatory matters. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Youngstown State and an MBA in finance and strategy from The Ohio State University.
