Geir Magne Abusdal

Mr. Geir Abusdal is currently a System Manager in the electric utility Glitre Nett. He holds a MSE degree in Power Engineering from Arizona State University and 27 years of broad experience in the energy industry. Main areas of expertise are project management, grid operations, innovation, system management, distributed flexibility, and energy markets. For the last four 9 years he has been a part of developing new business models through the flexibility program in the DSO Glitre Nett in Norway. In 2023 he joined an expert group for distributed flexibility in the European DSO association EU DSO Entity working with regulatory aspects that facilitate integration of distributed flexibility into the energy system.
