
Frankie Sanchez
Frankie Sanchez is the Manager of Business Operations for Florida Power & Light’s (FPL) Optional Supplemental Power Services (OSPS) group. OSPS program offers customers voluntary backup power solutions that are located on the customer’s premise, then customers make a fixed monthly payment on their electric bill for the service that covers all costs associated with their service. Before joining OSPS, Mr. Sanchez was Power Delivery’s project lead in developing, designing, and implementing projects associated with the 50 MW battery storage pilot program approved by the FL Public Service Commission. He managed existing battery energy storage pilot projects by preparing test plans, supporting testing, performing data analysis, and reporting. Additional responsibilities included reviewing and evaluating the interconnection of distributed generation and supporting other special projects. Before joining FPL in 2015, Mr. Sanchez worked for PJM Interconnection LLC as a Senior Electrical Engineer in the Interconnection Analysis department for 7 years. He coordinated with transmission owners, project managers, and developers, the Interconnection studies for generation projects.
