Mr. Eric J. Charette serves as Director of Advisory Services for Qualus Digital Solutions, where he leads a team of professionals providing consulting services to electric utilities on grid modernization strategy, with a particular focus on Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS). Previously, Eric was part of the Hexagon leadership team as Executive Technical Director, where he helped shape strategic direction for the utilities practice and held leadership roles spanning business development, sales, and product management. He began his career at Wisconsin Public Service as a Regional Electrical Engineer, where he provided engineering support for the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the electric distribution system. He later served as Senior Outage Management Engineer, where he was the OMS process owner and provided technical and strategic leadership for outage management. Eric holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, with an emphasis in Power Systems, and is a registered Professional Electrical Engineer. He is a recognized thought leader in the industry and currently serves on the DistribuTECH Advisory Committee as Grid Modernization Track Chair.
