Senior Vice President, Engineering, Eversource

 Mr. Chatterjee is Senior Vice President, Engineering at Eversource, the largest utility in New England, with responsibility for System Planning, Grid Modernization, Station, Transmission and Distribution Engineering for our three public utilities across in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire.  Mr. Chatterjee oversees 10- and 20-year planning, engineering and design of the T&D Reliability and Resilience Capital Plan that serve as the grid enabling foundation for the New England states to meet their economic development, electrification and clean energy integration goals.

Mr. Chatterjee began his professional career over twenty four years ago at GE Energy Consulting. Mr. Chatterjee subsequently worked for MISO where he led Reliability and Economic Transmission Planning as well as Resource Adequacy. He then served as Vice President, Investment Strategy at GE Capital, where he led fundamental Energy and Capacity market analyses to inform renewable energy investment decisions.

Mr. Chatterjee earned his Bachelors in Power Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University, India. He earned his Master’s in Electric Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from University of Chicago-Booth School of Business.
