Davis Erwin is the Director of the Protection and Controls group for transmission and substations at PG&E. He received his BSEE and MSEE from New Mexico State University and is a registered professional engineer in California. He has been in PG&E’s Protection Group for 27 years and served as a member of the PRC-012-2 standard drafting team and the NERC Glossary of Term definition of Remedial Action Scheme (RAS). He presently serves as the Co-Chair of the Western Electric Coordination Council RAS Reliability Subcommittee and is a member of the NERC System Protection and Control Working Group (SPCWG).
