Received BSEE and MSEE from New Mexico State University and is a registered professional engineer in California. He has been with PG&E System Protection since Jan 1999 supporting 500 kV Protection Systems, Remedial Action Scheme implementation, and is presently the Director of P&C, (Protection, Automation, and PRC Compliance). He was a member of the NERC standard drafting team for PRC-012-2 and the NERC Glossary of Term definition of RAS, serves as the Vice Chair of the WECC Remedial Action Scheme Reliability Subcommittee, and is a member of the NERC System Protection and Control Working Group (SPCWG).
