David Kidd is Senior Product Manager at Utilismart, where he works on SmartMAP, utility analytics, outage management, and distribution grid intelligence solutions. Since joining Utilismart in 2009, David has helped utilities apply engineering, GIS, AMI, CIS, SCADA, outage, and asset data to improve planning, operations, reliability, and customer-impact analysis.
His work has supported the evolution of SmartMAP from distribution simulation and HealthMAP analytics into a dynamic utility digital twin platform used for operational decision-making, DER readiness, and AI-assisted utility workflows.
