Daniel Hengst is a seasoned utility professional with over 15 years of experience specializing in electric distribution engineering, operations, construction, and project leadership for outage management technology. They hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA, and have maintained an active PMP certification for nine years. Throughout their career, Daniel has successfully managed several major NMS upgrade initiatives for Con Edison, including a significant seven-year leap from NMS 2.3 to 2.6, delivering impactful results for end users.

Daniel’s approach to project adoption emphasizes comprehensive change management, including stakeholder analysis to identify affected communities, clear understanding of high-level change impacts, robust communication and engagement, readiness and adoption assessment, as well as strategic training development and execution. His dedication to thoughtful planning and collaborative execution has helped teams navigate complex transitions and achieve sustainable results.
