Daniel works at the intersection of transmission planning and regulation, making sure our technical studies connect to real regulatory needs. With partners across the organization, we keep studies on track, show our work openly, and meet state and federal requirements. Daniel goal is to explain complex power topics in plain English, build consensus, and deliver reliable, cost conscious results. I enjoy mentoring, fixing broken processes, and turning messy inputs into clean, review ready records.

Daniel has more than 14 years of experience working at Southern Company in different roles including Transmission planning, Data Acquisition and OT cyber-Security, Supervisor for Protection and Control, Team leader for Protection and Control Applications, among others. 

Daniel has an MBA from Georgia Tech, Scheller College of Business and a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez.
