Chris Nunalee is a leader in utility innovation and digital transformation at NextEra Energy, where he focuses on applying advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and modern grid technologies to improve reliability, resilience, and customer outcomes. Chris is responsible for developing and delivering on NextEra's aggressive technology roadmap to support the growth of the US energy sector. His work spans utility operations, large-scale infrastructure planning, and integration of emerging technologies to support the rapidly evolving demands of electrification, distributed energy resources, and data-driven grid management. 

Chris brings a strong technical foundation to his work at the intersection of energy and technology aiming to translate innovation into real-world operational value and preparing utilities for the enxt era of grid complexity and growth. He holds both a B.S. and Ph.D in Atmopsheric Science from North Carolina State University, with academic concentrations in numerical modeling and computational analysis.
