Cedric Tai is the Director of Strategic Initiatives at SWTCH. In this role, he brings together over 10 years of experience in electric utility sector, software development and R&D innovation to lead SWTCH in growing the integration between the grid and electric vehicles and the R&D development efforts to build the next generation of EV Management platform. Prior to joining SWTCH, Cedric was the Staff Solutions Architect for DERMS at GE Digital and the VP of Professional Services at Opus One Solutions. He is also a professional engineer, an alumni of University of Toronto’s Engineering Science program, majoring in Energy Systems, a co-author of multiple IEEE publications and a patent owner for microgrid technology architecture.
