With over 25 years of boots-on-the-ground experience in heavy civil construction, electrical, and land development, Carter Val brings deep operational insight to every project he touches. At PG&E, he spent a decade leading gas construction across Northern California, building field teams and streamlining operations in one of the utility’s most critical sectors. Now managing PG&E’s rapidly growing paving department, Carter oversees a $150M+ initiative launched in Fall 2023 that includes 27 contractors and 45 field personnel. From trenches to strategy, Carter is known for bridging the gap between engineering precision and field execution.
