BRYCE JOHANNECK, PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT, has over 15 years of T&D experience with leading electric cooperatives in (MISO) North, and multiple North American IOUs. He is a Journeyman Lineman, Meterman, Distribution System Operator, Substation & Relay Technician, and has 10+ years in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and PMU/Synchrophasor technologies and deployments. He has significant experience with granular AMI data and future distribution engineering concepts using grid-edge data. Bryce developed his own meter data management system (MDMS) and aggregates 15/60-minute AMI data on real-time distribution topology via leading distribution connectivity models, including North America's most accurate GIS and OMS models. He's on the NASPI Leadership Team where he leads the Distribution Task Team focused on deploying and leveraging time synchronous phasor data on the medium voltage distribution grid.
