Brian Yung is a Principal Engineer for National Grid’s Integrated Planning and Solutions team. He provides technical guidance and direct subject matter expertise for initiatives and projects within the Company regarding DER integration, non-wire alternatives, energy storage, distributed energy management systems (DERMS) and DSO implementation. Prior to joining National Grid, he has worked for the New York Independent System Operator in wholesale market design to support DER participation and at General Electric supporting technical sales, system engineering and commissioning of multiple thermal and renewable generation projects and energy storage projects.
