Brian Dale is a Lead Engineer at Duke Energy and a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of North Carolina. He is a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy and holds a bachelor’s degree in Facilities Engineering. His focus over the last decade has been the study and integration of distributed energy resources. More recently Brian has studied a variety of battery energy storage plus PV systems to assess the reliability and stability of inverter based resources in grid following and islanding operation.
