Billy Spadinger

Director, Distribution Control Center, Xcel Energy

Billy is the Director of the Xcel Energy Public Service Company of Colorado Electric Distribution Control Center. He graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in December 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with two specialties in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. He began work with Xcel Energy in June 2012 in the Distribution Design Engineering in the Southwestern Public Service Operating Company in Southeast New Mexico. From there he held several positions at Xcel Energy including 10 plus years in the Distribution Control Center and Electric Trouble organizations.
