Ben Ealey has 15 years’ experience in the smart grid area, and brings a wealth of knowledge in grid integration, DERs and grid interoperability technologies. In the past, Ben worked in similar roles at Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) and was a project manager at EPRI Customer Technologies Program, leading the grid-interactive appliance research. He currently leads EPRI's DER Gateway initiate working with 12 utility members to define the role of DER gateways in the future energy system. He also leads the interoperability and cyber security work group in the IEEE 1547 revision process.
