Annabelle Pratt

Chief Engineer , National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR)

Annabelle has industrial research and development experience spanning over 15 years in the fields of power electronics, control systems and energy management systems in the roles of researcher, engineer, and project manager. She is interested in the control and management systems required to improve the power delivery efficiency, reliability and power quality of electric grids with high penetrations of renewable energy sources. She particularly enjoys opportunities to work with academia through industry sponsorship of research projects. Annabelle is an IEEE senior member, holds six patents, and has published thirty-three papers in peer-reviewed journals and/or conferences, in addition to several articles in technical and trade magazines.
