Ankush is Exelon's Director for Innovation & Technology, with 20+ years of experience in research, development and implementation of strategies and scalable programs. He is responsible for growing Exelon's innovation ecosystem both internally and externally, enabling hi-tech, lo-tech, and no-tech innovative solutions, and empowering Exelon's employees to incubate game-changing innovation to drive the energy transformation forward. He also leads Exelon's Innovation Center of Excellence, which focuses on advancing AI.

Previously, as Director of Advanced Analytics at Exelon he was responsible for collaborating with leaders and experts across Exelon’s six utility companies to develop and deliver a robust Grid T&D and Safety Advanced Analytics program. He co-founded Exelon’s Analytics Academy program, which is aimed at increasing awareness and adoption of analytics across organizations to accelerate development of an analytics-driven culture. 

Ankush is a respected leader in the industry, serving on Utility Analytic Institute’s (UAI) Strategic Advisory Board, Safety Analytics Community Sponsor, Association of Edison Illuminating Companies (AEIC) Analytics Council Chairperson, and Grid Forward Advisory board. He holds a University Gold Medal from Louisiana State University, where he earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and conducted research on Memory Storage Estimation and Optimization for Embedded Systems. 

Ankush is a father to two young daughters and is passionate about increasing the engagement of girls in STEM programs and technology careers.
