Amin Zamani is the Executive Advisor and Director of Distributed Energy Systems (DES) with Quanta Technology. He has over ten years of industry and utility experience globally. He specializes in power system protection and control, deployment of emerging technologies, integration of Distributed Energy Resources (DER), and advanced real-time testing. Most recently, Amin served as the Global Director of Grid Modernization Services with GE Grid Solutions. In recent years, he has been leading several utility and industrial projects focusing on deployment of microgrids, distribution automation applications, wildfire mitigation solutions, and advanced protection solutions. Amin is a Senior Member of IEEE, an active IEEE PSRC member, and a professional engineer in the province of Ontario.
