Amanda Dixon, Senior Business Growth Manager for Smart Cities at Itron, is a proven leader with over 20 years of success in the smart grid and outdoor roadway lighting market. She chaired the ANSI C136 Outdoor and Area Lighting Committee within NEMA, where she helped drive new standards for Networked Lighting Controllers, and has built trusted relationships with utility and municipal lighting engineers nationwide. In 2009, she received the Next Generation Award from the ANSI Board of Directors for her leadership in advancing area and roadway lighting standards. Amanda holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, where she now serves on the Strategic Advisory Board for the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
