Alyssa Ramirez is a Principal at West Monroe who helps utilities and infrastructure organizations translate complex energy, regulatory, technology, and resilience challenges into scalable strategies. She has led virtual power plant strategy work focused on helping utilities move from pilots to enterprise capability, including the development of decision frameworks that align VPP use cases to grid needs, operating models, DER eligibility, customer enrollment, vendor roles, telemetry, DERMS, cybersecurity, measurement and verification, and cost recovery considerations. Alyssa brings a differentiated perspective shaped by her experience supporting utility rate case strategy, navigating federal and state policy, and advising on critical infrastructure resilience. As a former Senate staffer covering energy, environment, science, and technology policy, she combines policy fluency, regulatory insight, and technical understanding to help utilities design programs that are operable, measurable, secure, and grounded in real grid value.
