Alex Ramirez is Vice President Customer Experience for AEP Texas. Ramirez is responsible for guiding and implementing the appropriate technology solutions to enhance customer service and operational efficiencies throughout the company's service area. His role also includes interfacing with state and local stakeholders and working with internal economic and business development teams to promote and implement electrification projects for the company. Ramirez oversees Project Management, Continuous Improvement, Advanced Meter Infrastructure, and Distributed Energy Resource Technologies. Ramirez has 15 years of experience with the company. He has held leadership positions at AEP Texas for Region Support in Corpus Christi, Customer Design in the Rio Grande Valley District, and Distribution Operations for the San Angelo District. He holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
