Aurelie Richard is the Chief Human Development and Strategy Officer at S&C Electric Company, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, Aurelie leads S&C’s Human Resources function and its strategy planning process. Under her leadership, S&C has seen changes in our approach to diversity and professional development. With over 15 years of experience in human development, Aurelie is focused on continuing to improve company culture, nurture talent, and support S&C as the company continues to make innovative changes in the electrical power industry.
Aurelie has an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance, a CPA certification and a master’s degree in Business Administration from EM Lyon Business School in France. She also holds a certification in Science in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University. Aurelie lives in Chicago with her husband and her two sons.
H.G. Chissell is the recent Master of Ceremonies of the Microgrid 2018 Conference in Chicago and Founder and CEO of Advanced Energy Group, a multi-city stakeholder platform for select energy leaders and organizations in Chicago, Denver, Boston, New York City and Washington D.C.
Previously, H.G Chissell served as SVP of Strategic Accounts for Viridity Energy, a DR software/service firm where he led Viridity’s growth of MWs throughout PJM, NYISO and ERCOT across all key verticals.
Jackie M. Peer earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from Washington State University and currently serves at OMICRON electronics as the Head of Strategic Business Development in North America.
Prior to her employment at OMICRON, Ms. Peer worked over two decades for Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) where she held a variety of leadership positions in R&D, sales, and technical marketing, and as director of SEL’s Modern Solutions Power Systems Conference and SEL University.
Ms. Peer is a senior member of IEEE and the Society of Women Engineers, IEEE Women in Engineering (WiE) member, and board member for IEEE Women in Power (WiP), IEEE Foundation and the Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA).
Ms. Peer is the Chief Volunteer Officer (a.k.a., Board President) for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lewis Clark Valley serving over 4,000 area youth.
In 2014, Ms. Peer received The Manufacturing Institute’s Women in Manufacturing STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering and Production) Award, which recognizes women in those four disciplines who have made significant achievements in manufacturing.
Just as Ms. Peer is a philanthropist and advocate for youth, she is equally passionate about gender diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Sue Kidd is the General Manager T&D Engineering and Technology at Arizona Public Service (APS). She has 25 years of Power Utility leadership experience in Fossil, Marketing, Environmental and T&D. She has an Electrical Engineering undergraduate degree and a Master Degree in Engineering Management. Sue joined the APS team in December 2009 as the Director Coal Operations and three years ago moved over to the T&D side of the company, first running T&D Operations and Maintenance and two years ago moved over to lead the newly combined T&D Engineering and Technology department. Prior to her move to Arizona, she worked for PSEG Power in New Jersey for almost 20 years primarily in Fossil Operations.
