Webinar: Inside the Grid - Evolving Threats and the New Era of Internal Network Security Monitoring
| Date & Time January 20, 2026 @ 11:00 am – January 20, 2025 @ 12:00 pm EST |
Duration 60 Minutes |
As energy systems become increasingly interconnected, the threat landscape facing utilities is expanding in sophistication and scale. Attackers are no longer relying solely on traditional perimeter breaches, they are moving laterally, exploiting trusted network zones, and targeting the heart of operational technology (OT) environments. This webcast examines the most pressing cyber risks impacting the sector today and explores why complete visibility inside the network has become essential for resiliency.
With the evolving NERC CIP-015-1 requirement, network security monitoring is becoming an increasingly critical component for protecting critical infrastructure. Fortinet OT expert Richard Springer will offer guidance on what these emerging standard signals for the industry, how it may influence existing security expectations, and the key technology and architectural considerations utilities should be evaluating now. Through real-world examples and emerging trends, attendees will walk away with a clearer understanding of how to strengthen defenses while preparing for the evolving regulatory landscape leading into DTECH26.
