The electrical utilities industry is experiencing substantial transformations due to technological advancements, regulatory changes, employee turnover, and shifting consumer demands. Recent OECD job reports indicate that at least 85 million jobs are currently being disrupted or affected globally.

Consequently, current employees and the future workforce within the utility sector must adapt and develop new skill sets to remain relevant and efficient.

New York Power Authority (NYPA), Siemens PTI and Grid Software University partnered to offer to NYPA’s workforce a holistic learning program that addresses employee learning needs.
