The demand for cleaner electric energy grows each year with electrification of data storage, mobility, space conditioning, vertical agriculture, industrial processes and more. Some say that America will double or triple its current peak demand requirements by 2050.

Add hyperscaler demand, more distributed energy resources (DER) and more utility scale generation and storage and it all has a dramatic impact on the current planning, design, operations and maintenance of the electric transmission and distribution (T&D) grid that delivers energy to load.  It will require a huge investment of financial and human resources.

Please join this panel of utility senior executives as we discuss major new investments in the T&D system and trends towards 765kV and HVDC, advanced cables and conductors, DER integration, and gridedge sensors.

Explore how each utility is executing their multi-billion dollar, multi-year investment programs to build out the 21st Century T&D grid.  Learn about overcoming supply chain challenges for long lead time equipment, public involvement processes, contracting strategies for management and design resources, project (craft) labor agreements and the application of emerging technologies in all the above.
