From Concept to Capacity: Bridging The Load Gap With Distributed Capacity
Speed-to-power is the currency of the modern energy sector. How can utilities support capacity buildout to serve large loads while protecting grid reliability, sustainability goals, and ratepayer affordability? In this peer-to-peer session we will discuss the “Bring Your Own Distributed Capacity” (BYODC) framework crafted by The Ad Hoc Group and the Alliance to Save Energy as a potential solution to tackle this challenge. Participants will focus on how to turn the BYODC concept into action with desired collaboration from utilities.
