In this session we will discuss the challenges arising from the increase in Electric Vehicle adoption and what that means for utilities. We will explore what utilities are doing to understand their customers' charging habits, such as, when they charge, how long they charge, the size and shape of their peaks, and what end users need from the utility in the form of power and energy. We will then walk through several examples of programs that utilities have in place to manage residential charging, the tools they are using to manage this load and the results they are seeing from these programs.
